What We Believe

Our Church believes that all the books of the Bible are from God and are completely true. We follow the Bible as the only perfect authority in all matters of life and faith.

Our Church is founded on the belief in the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the creation as described in Genesis, and that God sent His son Jesus Christ to save the world from sin. We proclaim salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We acknowledge dependence upon the Holy Spirit to call unbelievers into faith, empower believers to grow in faith, and bestow His gifts for the ministry of the Church.
The Church is led by Jesus Christ, its living head. The Church is present wherever God's Word is preached and the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Supper are administered. The Holy Spirit unites the Church through the Means of Grace which are the Bible and Sacraments.

The Church's unity is based on the proclamation of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit's activity, not on organizational structure. The Church's purpose is to witness to the Christian faith, proclaim the Gospel, and provide for the renewal and sanctification of its members.
We emphasize that the Bible is The authority for understanding Jesus and gaining salvation. We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God. We urge Christians, to trust in the Bible's certainty for spiritual renewal.
Our Church believes in the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts, but emphasizes using them for the good of the church community, following the Bible's teachings.
We focus on salvation by faith in Jesus, and the Holy Spirit's role in helping us grow closer to God. Prayer for healing is encouraged but without attempts to control God's will.
The Lord's Prayer reminds us that we are God's beloved children, able to approach Him confidently through Jesus. We devote ourselves to God, praying, praising, and thanking Him in all situations.

God gives us the Holy Spirit to help us believe and live by His Word. We seek His will and ask for strength to resist the devil. We trust God to provide for our daily needs. We believe our Father in heaven hears and answers our prayers, and we affirm this with amen.

Jesus' baptism shows us that He is the Savior to sinners. God's justice was satisfied by punishing our sins through Jesus Christ, without punishing us directly. Through His baptism, Jesus continues the work of making us His own, ensuring that we can live with Him for eternity.

Jesus bore all our sins and His repentance for our sins is perfect. When He imparts His righteousness to us, He shares with us His perfect repentance for our sins. We need daily recall our baptism and engage in continuous repentance
We should accept it with unwavering faith. This means letting go of doubt and trusting in God's Word. Without faith, we will not receive total freedom in our consciences

Jesus came to offer compassion and freedom from struggles. He helps the excluded and transforms lives with God's love. Repent and find forgiveness and peace in Jesus. He forgives because it is His purpose.

You don't need to prove anything to others or compete as the world teaches. God's love heals and frees you from worldly pressures. When you experience this freedom, share it with others.

God transforms you through His Word and Sacraments. This brings rest from your burdens and joy in His presence. Be grateful for forgiveness and content with God's gifts. The safest place is in God's loving arms.
Our Church highlights the biblical perspective on marriage, emphasizing that it is a lifelong, exclusive union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, rooted in God's creation. The sacred nature of marriage as described in Genesis, emphasizing the oneness of the marital union. (Gen.2:24; cf.Matt.19:5–6; Eph. 5:31).

Our Church also underscores the importance of maintaining the purity and sanctity of the marriage bed and honors the institution of marriage. The Apostle Paul's view of marriage as a representation of Christ's relationship with the church, underscoring its significance as a divine and precious blessing. (Eph. 5:22–33)

Our Church unequivocally views homosexual desires and behavior as sinful and not in alignment with God's intentions for His people. It rejects the idea that homosexuality is a valid alternative to the traditional male-female pattern. Our Church engage in Scriptural teaching to counter the increasing societal acceptance of homosexual attitudes.

The approach to addressing homosexuality is consistent with how other sins are handled. This involves preaching and teaching the Law to highlight the sinful nature and its consequences, leading to repentance. Our Church also emphasizes the importance of the Gospel, which offers forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ. However, it emphasizes that the Gospel should not be seen as a justification for continuing in sinful behavior.
Our Church strongly upholds the sanctity of human life, condemning induced abortion as a sin against God and humanity. While we reject abortion, we acknowledge rare situations where the mother's life is at immediate risk as a tragic exception. We emphasize the role of civil law in shaping society's values and call for legal changes to protect the unborn.

We urge counselors to compassionately address the emotional aftermath of abortion and emphasize the Gospel of forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We encourage our members to actively oppose abortion and support organizations that protect human life and provide care to those facing crisis pregnancies.
